Carl Saab (Founder & Chief Scientific Officer)
Neuroscientist with 25+ years expertise studying brain physiology in health and disease. He completed his fellowship at Yale in 2004 and joined Brown faculty till 2020.
He is currently Professor of Neuroscience, Cleveland Clinic, Case Western Reserve University, and adjunct Professor Brown University. He has published 50+ peer-reviewed scientific papers and 4 textbooks in the field of pain and neuroscience.
Michael Cohen (Co-founder & Senior Business Advisor)
Managing Director of Pochet Advisors and Director at TruePoint. He was practice leader of EMC Corp’s Corporate Strategy group, and partner at Oliver Wyman Consulting, where he advised companies across a range of sectors including healthcare, life sciences, financial services and transportation.
As CEO of Xceed Molecular, he led a successful redirection of this venture-backed molecular diagnostics co leading to its eventual sale. He led the raise of $10+m in private financing for young companies.
Michael served as an independent director of two middle-market portfolio companies in a $1b private equity fund. He also serves on the advisory board for PEAR Institute (Program in Education, After School & Resiliency) at Harvard. Mr. Cohen received a B.A. from Clark University and an M.M.A from the University of Washington.
